KetoBudget is operated by Sweet Pea Saga LLC. For the personal data described here, Sweet Pea Saga LLC is the data controller — we decide what data is collected and why. You can reach us at support@ketobudget.app.

• Account data (email address, password credentials, display name) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Meal planning data (household size, weekly budget, dietary filters, saved plans, pantry items, grocery lists) — to generate and store your plans. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in supporting customers.
• Usage and device data (pages viewed, features used, browser type, device identifiers, IP address) — to keep the service secure, diagnose faults and improve the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Subscription status (plan, renewal date, cancellation state) — to give you the features you paid for. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
• Marketing preferences — if you opt in to our newsletter. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not collect or store your card details. Payment information is handled directly by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, payments, invoicing, subscription management and tax compliance.
• Service providers and subprocessors that host our database, run authentication, and help us monitor errors and performance.
• Professional advisers such as legal and accounting providers where necessary.
• Authorities, where we are required to disclose information by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

We keep account and meal planning data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records for legal, tax or accounting purposes. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be retained indefinitely.

Subject to the law where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent for marketing. To exercise any of these, email support@ketobudget.app. We aim to respond within one month.

If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level restrictions so your meal plans and subscription records are only readable by your own account.

We use essential cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Where we use analytics or marketing cookies we ask for your consent first, and you can change your mind at any time through your browser settings.
